
Rescue Efforts Underway Following Partial Collapse of Apartment Complex
Footage has emerged showing the chaotic scene after an apartment building partially collapsed in Davenport, Iowa, on Sunday, May 28. The incident occurred around 5 PM when a section of the red brick structure on Main Street gave way, with alarming images revealing that at least one-fourth of the building’s units were destroyed.
The cause of the collapse is still under investigation, and as of Monday, rescue teams have managed to save eight individuals from the debris. However, the number of people still unaccounted for remains uncertain. Fortunately, no fatalities have been reported at this time.
